Dirt Cake

  • 1 pkg WhoNu?® Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups skim or low fat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 12-oz container of low fat frozen whipped topping
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 small packages of instant, fat free vanilla or chocolate pudding mix

  1. Put half the cookies into plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin till cookies are fine.
  2. Spread in the bottom of a 9" x 13" pan.
  3. Combine and beat the whipped topping, softened cream cheese and powdered sugar till smooth.
  4. Pour this mixture over the cookies.
  5. Blend milk, pudding and vanilla till thick. Pour pudding over mixture in the pan.
  6. Repeat step one with remaining cookies and scatter them over the top of the cake.
  7. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. This cake is best if made the day before serving.
TIP:
  • If you're making the Dirt Cake for a party – spice it up a bit! Use a new, clean flower pot instead of the casserole pan. Then garnish the top with a few gummy worms coming up from the dirt and insert an artificial flower in the middle. Serve with a new, clean gardening trowel.
